John Smoltz looked solid in his return from the DL today, tossing 5 shutout innings with 6 Ks against the Mets. Unfortunately, it looked like Smoltz's nagging shoulder might have tightened up after the 5th inning. It took him 78 pitches to get through 5, but he was getting a major league squeeze job early on.
